Build cybersecurity governance experience with TMX Group as a Junior GRC Analyst Intern in Toronto, working hybrid two to three days in office. Support risk assessments, compliance monitoring, and policy maintenance within financial markets.
This four-month co-op internship reports to the Senior Manager, Information Security II. You will support enterprise cybersecurity governance through risk registers, audit readiness, third-party risk management, and security frameworks. The work involves collaborating with technology teams, business stakeholders, and security specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cybersecurity policies, frameworks, standards, and supporting documentation
- Support Threat Risk Assessments and Business-As-Usual risk intakes
- Track compliance issues, exceptions, and remediation milestones
- Organize audit deliverables and regulatory response documentation
- Collect GRC metrics for leadership reporting dashboards
Requirements:
- Current enrollment in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program
- Foundational information security and technology risk understanding
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets proficiency
- Robust analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, organization, and self-management skills
