The lane requires five days on the road, with average monthly distances of 10,000 to 12,000 miles. Training prepares mentees for open-board highway transportation and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate assigned Class 1 equipment on cross-border triangle runs
- Drive between Manitoba, Ontario, and Midwest United States lanes
- Remain on the road for five days at a time
- Complete live loading and unloading events
- Drive nights when required and depart weekends

Requirements:

- Valid Class 1 Manitoba license
- MELT certificate obtained within the last twelve months
- FAST Card eligible with clean commercial abstract
- One year of required Class 1 experience
- Flexibility for weekend departures and night driving
