This Pharmacy Technician role supports medication dispensing, inventory control, and compounding within a premier teaching hospital. You will use robotic drug distribution, automated cabinets, barcode scanning, and sophisticated inventory systems. The work includes sterile and non-sterile compounding, including TPN and chemotherapy, while supporting accurate medication distribution. Structured procedures, continuing education, and departmental collaboration support ongoing learning and development. Attention to detail, empathy, and organization are central to the pharmacy’s patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Dispense drugs using the robotic drug distribution system
- Compound sterile and non-sterile medications, including TPN and chemotherapy




- Replenish automated dispensing cabinets and operating room workstations
- Perform quality assurance and maintain inventory, equipment, and robots
- Double-check technical work independently and support team training

Requirements:

- Current Ontario RPhT registration, licensing, and good standing
- Part A authorization to practice with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- One year of hospital setting experience preferred
- Good communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively, under pressure, and meet deadlines
