The Personal Support Worker follows supervisors’ care plans while meeting regulatory and Extendicare standards. Responsibilities include hygiene, daily living assistance, transfers, reporting, and resident support. The position serves vulnerable adults in a long-term care setting and requires sound personal care knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

- Follow care plans determined by the supervisor
- Assist residents with hygiene and daily living activities
- Support ambulation, mobilization, transfers, and adaptive aids
- Observe and report changes in resident condition




- Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support

Requirements:

- Graduate of a Personal Support Worker program
- Experience working with seniors in community health services
- Robust written, oral, interpersonal, and customer focus skills
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
- Ability to lift and transfer clients
