Operate mine equipment and support mining operations as a General Mine Labourer with Heidelberg Materials in Cadomin, Alberta.
This full time position supports the Cement & White line of business. You will perform mine housekeeping, train alongside mechanics and operators, and follow equipment safety procedures. Underground mining experience and mechanical aptitude are assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean material spills and maintain housekeeping throughout mine areas
- Train to support mechanics, crusher operators, and rail loaders
- Safely operate haul trucks, wheel loaders, and scoop trams
- Inspect vehicles and equipment according to standard procedures
- Fuel and grease equipment while following traffic controls
Requirements:
- Underground mining experience is an asset
- Mine-site heavy equipment or haul truck experience
- Mechanical aptitude and equipment awareness are assets
- Proven safety record and effective communication
- Must be at least 18 and complete required checks
