Provide perioperative nursing care at Scarborough Health Network’s General Site as a Registered Practical Nurse across day and night shifts. Apply patient assessment and teaching skills.

Reporting to the Manager, this permanent full-time Registered Practical Nurse delivers care to diverse patients and families in Surgical Suites. Practice according to College of Nurses of Ontario standards, nursing standards, and Scarborough Health Network policies. Support patient-centred care through assessment, education, communication, and reliable clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients and families
- Practice according to College of Nurses of Ontario standards
- Complete patient assessments and provide patient teaching




- Work independently within a Total Patient Care modality
- Participate in safety programs and regular in-service education

Requirements:

- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Perioperative Nursing Certificate or commensurate experience
- Solid organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to manage busy workloads independently
