Provide resident-centered nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Bethany Harvest Hills in Calgary, using assessment, documentation, and critical thinking.
This part-time, temporary position supports residents, families, volunteers, and team members within the designated scope of practice. You will promote dignity, choice, and independence while following Bethany policies, procedures, and resident care plans. The role includes days from 0645 to 1500.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments and prioritize resident care
- Document assessments, interventions, outcomes, and reports accurately
- Promote safety and report unsafe workplace conditions immediately
- Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Direct and supervise Health Care Aides when necessary
Requirements:
- Graduate of a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program
- Active CLHA registration in positive standing
- Current CPR certification
- Effective English communication, reading, and writing skills
- Excellent observation, communication, and critical thinking skills
