Job Description
Crop Defenders Ltd. is seeking Biological Technicians to join our team in Maidstone, Ontario. The successful candidates will assist with biological testing, laboratory analyses, field research, environmental monitoring, and related operational activities.
This is a full-time, permanent position requiring on-site work.
Responsibilities
Assist in conducting biological tests and laboratory analyses.
Conduct microbiological and biochemical tests and laboratory analyses.
Set up and perform biological, microbiological, and biochemical testing procedures.
Assist in analyzing data and preparing technical reports.
Conduct field research and surveys to collect data and samples.
Analyze research findings and prepare reports.
Conduct environmental monitoring and compliance activities for the protection of wildlife and other natural resources.
Assist with or supervise operational programs.
Qualifications
Education:
College or CEGEP diploma.
Experience:
1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
