Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Care leads nursing and clinical teams within a long-term care home. The role oversees resident care, Ministry standards, clinical outcomes, and resident safety. It also advances quality assurance, risk management, and infection prevention and control.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide oversight of nursing and clinical programs
- Ensure compliance with the Fixing Long-Term Care Act
- Lead Ministry inspections, audits, and quality initiatives
- Coach, develop, and manage clinical staff performance




- Monitor outcomes, risks, infection control, and resident safety

Requirements:

- Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Three to five years of Long-Term Care leadership experience
- Knowledge of LTC regulations and Ministry inspections
- Experience with compliance and quality assurance programs
- Solid communication, leadership, and organizational skills
