Provide resident-centred nursing care as a Registered Practical Nurse at Case Manor in Bobcaygeon, working temporary full-time day shifts.
Reporting to the Director of Care, this six-month position supports residents through assessments, care planning, communication, and supervision. Apply sound nursing practice within established policies, physician orders, resident plans, and your RPN/LPN scope. Experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or senior health is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing and personal care to residents
- Complete admissions, readmissions, and status-change assessments
- Communicate regularly with residents and families
- Guide staff and supervise assigned Personal Support Workers
- Foster welcoming care through teamwork and communication
Requirements:
- Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with Ontario College of Nurses
- Positive judgement and ability to identify risk
- Experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or senior health is an asset
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
- Successful Vulnerable Sector or Criminal Record Check
