This full time, unionized position supports Enbridge utility operations across Ontario. You will perform pipeline maintenance, appliance inspections, distribution station maintenance, and customer interactions. The work requires communication skills, computer skills, and readiness for standby or shift work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute pipeline repairs, maintenance, and construction inspections safely
- Inspect and activate natural gas appliances
- Respond to line breaks, leaks, and odour investigations
- Liaise with fire, police, and TSSA officials
- Promote distribution system protection and damage prevention
Requirements:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Ability to obtain required Gas Utility Technician certification
- Ability to obtain the TSSA Pipeline Inspector's Certificate
- Appropriate driver's license and satisfactory driving record
- Physical ability to perform strenuous manual labour
