Provide advanced clinical care at Villa Marconi Long Term Care Centre in Ottawa, using assessment and person-centred practice. This is an in office, full-time nursing role.

The Nurse Practitioner reports to the Director of Care and is accountable to the Medical Director. You will assess, diagnose, treat, monitor, and follow residents within extended class scope. The role also supports care planning, medication management, palliative care, education, and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive primary care, assessment, treatment, monitoring, and follow-up
- Complete admissions, annual assessments, medication reconciliation, and care planning
- Prescribe, deprescribe, and monitor medications and treatments safely
- Coordinate referrals, diagnostics,



results review, and follow-up
- Lead education, coaching, palliative support, and quality initiatives

Requirements:

- Current CNO registration as Nurse Practitioner RN(EC)
- Eligibility for Ontario RN(EC) practice accepted from other jurisdictions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Vulnerable Sector Check, health testing, vaccines, and references required
