This full time contract role serves children at Rickson Ridge YMCA Child Care in Guelph-Wellington. You will use Playing to Learn and YMCA Place to Connect curricula while building relationships, documenting development, and maintaining safety. The position runs through May 29, 2028.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide compassionate care and support to children and families
- Build relationships and update parents on children’s progress
- Engage children through creative play and learning
- Supervise children and follow provincial, municipal, and YMCA policies
- Document development, sanitize spaces, and serve food safely

Requirements:

- Early Childhood Educator Diploma or accepted child-related education
- CECE registration or proof registration is in process
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- Experience with young children, including volunteer or placement experience
- Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 20 kilograms
