Use inventory planning and supplier coordination as a Buyer at Rexel’s Calgary Foothills location. Support replenishment across Western Canada’s distribution network.

The Western procurement team manages inventory replenishment for 56 branches. You will place supplier orders, maintain purchase order details, and pursue delivery dates. The work also supports availability targets, inventory rebalancing, and supplier issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Place orders and obtain purchase order confirmations
- Maintain purchase order costs and delivery dates
- Expedite deliveries and resolve supplier non-conformance
- Review demand and make appropriate buying decisions
- Rebalance surplus inventory across branches daily

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education or two to three years’ related experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Outlook and Excel
- AS400 or GAINS experience considered an asset
- Independent problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Solid organizational, communication, and time management skills
