Support municipal facilities in Clarington through building maintenance, HVAC service, custodial procedures, and front-line customer service. This position works day and afternoon shifts.

Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, the Building Services II position maintains buildings and surrounding grounds. Candidates need custodial and building maintenance experience, HVAC knowledge, and familiarity with Ontario building and fire codes. The work supports protected, functional facilities for employees and the public.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform daily cleaning, custodial, and disinfection procedures
- Provide routine heating, ventilation, and air conditioning service
- Complete grounds maintenance and building inspections




- Perform preventative maintenance and document safety records
- Troubleshoot minor renovations, repairs, and building projects

Requirements:

- Job-related college program, trade certificate, or equivalent education and experience
- One to three years’ custodial and building maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of Ontario Building and Fire Codes
- Small Drinking Water Systems certification
- Ontario Class G licence and reliable transportation
