Leaps & Bounds Children’s Centre is a licensed, non-profit child care centre with 3 locations in Arnprior and Renfrew. The Arnprior location is based out of AJ Charbonneau Public School on Baskin Drive. We offer Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten and School Aged Programs.

This posting is for an already existing position which has opened and it requires:

1 Contract Resource Stafffor our

School Age Program

**This contract is for 2.5 months November 16 - January 31, 2027

4 hours/day, 5 days a week, 7 hours a day on PA Days, March Break, etc…

The rate of pay is $23.65 per hour plus 4% holiday pay.

Requirements:

- Experience with young children
- Current Standard First Aid / CPR C
- Current Criminal Reference Check for the Vulnerable Sector




- Proof of up to date immunizations and ability to get note from a medical practitioner indicating valuable health
- WHMIS, AODA, Anaphylaxis, Workers Health & Safety in 4 steps, Diabetes certificates (we can help a successful candidate secure these certificates)

Recommended:

- Knowledge of CCEYA and HDLH

Considered an Asset:

- Experience with children in a licensed childcare centre
- Experience with children with special needs
- Child centered educational background (RECE, DSW, etc)
