Lead Armtec’s production team as a Shift Supervisor, using manufacturing leadership and problem-solving skills during Monday-to-Friday daytime hours.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will oversee daily plant operations and support protected, efficient, high-quality manufacturing. The role emphasizes coaching, communication, decision-making, and continuous improvement. Knowledge of HDPE manufacturing processes is an asset, alongside transferable manufacturing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily production activities to meet customer needs safely
- Coach and develop employees in production and safety practices
- Monitor equipment performance and product quality
- Complete accurate daily production reports on time
- Uphold company health and safety requirements
Requirements:
- Previous supervisory experience in manufacturing
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Related trade or technical education considered an asset
