Working within Strategic Procurement & CRE, the Facilities Maintenance Mechanic performs preventative maintenance, servicing, and minor repairs. The position involves hangar doors, overhead doors, fire doors, building inspections, and facility-related tasks. Candidates work independently or collaboratively through shift rotations, weekends, and on-call duty.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical facility equipment
- Service and repair hangar, overhead, and fire doors
- Install, dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery




- Conduct building inspections for Building Code compliance
- Complete facility tasks safely during rotating shifts

Requirements:

- Interprovincial Journeyman Millwright license or Red Seal
- Minimum three years of field experience
- Valid driver’s licence with clean abstract
- Basic Word, Excel, email, and internet knowledge
- Ability to work at heights and provide on-call flexibility
