The Financial Analyst reports to the Manager of Accounting within Neighbourly Pharmacy’s Corporate Accounting team. You will analyze variances, reconcile payments, review inventory valuations, and support period-end and quarter-end close activities. The work also includes reporting, internal controls, process improvements, and corporate financial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze accrual and payment variances periodically
- Reconcile program payments and assist with reporting results
- Review physical inventory counts and ensure accurate valuation
- Support close activities with reconciliations and journal entries
- Prepare ad hoc reports and financial analyses
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Commerce in finance or accounting
- Three or more years of accounting experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
- Experience with sales margin and analysis
- Robust organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
