Randstad Canada is seeking a Skilled General Labourer for a contract warehouse maintenance assignment with extension potential. Support conveyers, zebra printers, automated equipment, and building systems while following safety procedures. The work requires troubleshooting, scheduled maintenance, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform minor repairs on conveyers and automated equipment
- Diagnose basic equipment problems and breakdowns
- Use power tools without damaging equipment
- Complete scheduled maintenance under customer contracts
- Document service calls and required paperwork
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- Minimum one-year related mechanical or electrical experience or training
- General maintenance experience including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems
- Forklift, reach, or order picker PIT licence
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work from heights
