Registered Practical Nurse wanted in Creemore, Ontario, providing resident-focused nursing care, assessment, communication, and supervision within a senior living community.
Reporting to the Director of Care, this Registered Practical Nurse supports residents at Creedan Valley Community. The position requires nursing practice within established policies, physicians’ orders, resident care plans, and RPN/LPN scope. It also involves family communication, staff guidance, and ongoing assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care according to established policies and physicians’ orders
- Deliver excellent nursing and personal care using sound principles
- Communicate regularly with residents and their families
- Supervise assigned Personal Support Workers and unregulated team members
- Assess admissions, readmissions, and changes in resident status
Requirements:
- Registered Practical Nurse in positive standing with Ontario College of Nurses
- Good judgement and ability to identify risk
- Ability to foster a positive work environment
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada or valid work permit
- Vulnerable Sector or applicable Criminal Record Check required
