As a Food Service Worker with Niagara Region, you will support meal service in a long-term care home. Responsibilities include preparing meals and snacks, distributing food, managing supplies, and cleaning equipment. Applicants enrolled in an approved certificate program may be considered for an FSW I position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare resident meals and snacks
- Distribute and serve resident meals
- Receive, store, and manage food supplies
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Operate food service equipment and follow applicable standards

Requirements:

- Grade 12 or equivalent completion
- Food Service Worker certificate or legislated equivalent qualification
- Current Safe Food Handling Certificate
- Up to one month of related experience preferred
