Lead manufacturing cost estimates and pricing business cases at Woodbridge Foam Corporation in Troy, Michigan or Mississauga, Ontario.
This senior position supports complex, multi-plant and recent-technology programs within the Product Evaluation and Costing team. You will use advanced Excel, finance principles, 2D drawings, and 3D CAD data to establish accurate manufacturing costs. The work connects quoting, management approvals, launched-program reviews, and consistent costing models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead estimates from RFQ review through quote submission
- Evaluate drawings and CAD data for part and tooling costs
- Generate pricing and financial business cases
- Present quotes and secure required approvals
- Review quoted versus actual costs after launch
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, accounting, or related field
- Four to seven years’ manufacturing costing or pricing experience
- Advanced Excel skills building and maintaining cost models
- Knowledge of margins, overhead absorption, and capital payback
- Experience presenting recommendations to management
