Portage College seeks a highly experienced paramedic for its Faculty of Paramedicine. This full time term appointment continues until June 30, 2027. The instructor prepares and delivers subjects, evaluates learners, supports curriculum work, and supervises practicums. Classroom and distance instruction are included.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver classroom and distance instruction at BLS and ALS levels
- Prepare and deliver paramedicine subjects
- Develop exams, quizzes, and student evaluation materials
- Manage student progress throughout the program
- Organize and supervise student practicums

Requirements:

- Advanced Care Paramedic diploma or qualifying allied health credentials
- Current unrestricted Alberta College of Paramedics registration
- Thorough paramedicine skills and knowledge
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office
