As a Heavy Duty Mechanic or Maintenance Technician with CPKC Work Equipment, you will maintain machinery supporting rail operations. The work includes preventative maintenance, diagnosis, repairs, and testing across complex equipment. You will help minimize downtime through accurate corrective action, documentation, and coordinated teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

- Repair and maintain roadway equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect, repair, and test rail machinery and loaders
- Use manual, electric, and hydraulic tools




- Diagnose equipment issues and reduce production disruptions
- Maintain accurate work orders, timesheets, and records

Requirements:

- At least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and high school diploma
- Technical education or three years’ heavy equipment repair experience
- Hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting experience
- Foundational welding and computer application skills
