Associated Youth Services of Peel seeks a temporary full time Counsellor for its Triple P, Positive Parenting Program. You will provide individual parenting support, intervention, and coaching while helping caregivers manage behaviour confidently. The role uses strength-based, systemic, and culturally sensitive practice within a collaborative service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct home-based and virtual sessions for parents and caregivers
- Provide parenting support, intervention, and coaching
- Coordinate and facilitate parent groups and seminars
- Complete assessments, case notes, and discharge summaries




- Build alliances with agencies and service providers

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field
- Registration with an Ontario professional regulating body
- One to two years’ experience with children, youth, and families
- Knowledge of development, mental health, behaviour, and family dynamics
- Group leadership, facilitation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
