Plotly is hiring a senior test specialist to improve product quality and reliability. You will combine test strategy, automated scripts, manual testing, and feature development. The work supports open-source data tools and Dash Enterprise, which deploys data applications in Kubernetes clusters or private clouds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain automated tests, suites, plans, and cases
- Test products, identify defects, and perform manual testing
- Develop product features and resolve bugs with engineers
- Guide and train others on test automation
- Contribute to quality practices and release decisions
Requirements:
- At least five years in software development in test
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Experience writing test cases and automated scripts
- Experience testing REST APIs and maintaining test data
- Experience with load and performance testing
