This Shipping Supervisor oversees inbound and outbound materials supporting production schedules and customer requirements. The position leads warehouse personnel, manages carriers and suppliers, and maintains manufacturing best practices. Success requires solid knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory controls, ERP systems, and continuous improvement practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead inbound and outbound material movements for production schedules
- Manage carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers
- Maintain inventory accuracy through ERP transactions and reconciliations
- Lead monthly inventory reviews and corrective actions
- Support safety, quality, and customer audits
Requirements:
- Three to five years shipping, receiving, warehousing, or logistics experience
- Previous supervision or leadership experience with warehouse teams
- Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of 5S, FIFO, inventory controls, and safety
- Post-secondary education in supply chain, logistics, or business
