Build a career, not just a job. At Intelliflex, you'll work with people who take pride in doing things right, support each other, and help you grow every step of the way.

About the Role

Intelliflex is hiring a Project Engineer to be the technical point of contact between Engineering and Project Management for our datacenter product programs - owning schedule, budget, and cross-discipline coordination from kickoff through completion. This role calls for someone equally comfortable with the technical detail and the people side of the job.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate engineering scope, schedule, and budget for individual customer projects from kickoff through completion, following up consistently rather than handing off and losing visibility.

Serve as the technical point of contact between Engineering and Project Management/Sales for scope hand-off and execution alignment.

Track project budgets and costs, using NetSuite (or equivalent ERP) as the system of record for project financials.

Coordinate across Mechanical, Electrical, Software, IT, Automation, and other disciplines - including cross-disciplinary roles like mechatronics engineers - to keep multi-discipline projects moving on schedule.

Run project kickoff and scope hand-off meetings and maintain schedule tracking visible to both Engineering leadership and Project Management.

Communicate project status clearly and proactively to engineering leads, project managers, and - where appropriate - customers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Hands-on familiarity with NetSuite or a comparable ERP system for project budgeting, cost tracking, and financial follow-up.

Demonstrated experience following a project through its full lifecycle - start to finish - with clear ownership of schedule and budget outcomes.

Robust people skills and excellent written and verbal communication - this role coordinates across engineering disciplines and interfaces with Project Management, Sales, and customers.

Working technical literacy across multiple engineering disciplines - mechanical, electrical, software, and IT - sufficient to coordinate intelligently across all of them without needing to be a specialist in each.

Professional registration with APEGA (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta), or eligibility to register.

Preferred Qualifications

Background as a mechatronics engineer, or other cross-disciplinary engineering background spanning mechanical, electrical, and controls/software.

Experience coordinating projects across multiple sites.

PMP or equivalent project management training/certification.
