Support governance, risk management, and internal controls as a Senior Internal Auditor with WCB-Alberta in Alberta. Hybrid work opportunities are available.

Reporting to the Chief Internal Auditor, you will lead assigned internal audit engagements and advisory activities. You will assess processes, evaluate controls, analyze information, and provide practical recommendations. Your work will support informed decisions by senior management and the Audit Committee.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and complete risk-focused audit and advisory engagements
- Assess risks, controls, processes, and root causes
- Formulate practical advice and evidence-based recommendations
- Communicate observations clearly across WCB-Alberta




- Support coordinated assurance activities with external professionals

Requirements:

- University degree or diploma in a related discipline
- Minimum three years of progressive related experience
- Experience leading complex audits and advisory engagements
- Robust governance, risk management, and internal controls knowledge
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and audit software aptitude
