Provide inpatient nursing care at North Bay Regional Health Centre using acute care experience, medication administration, and IV maintenance skills.

This Registered Practical Nurse position serves patients in Inpatient Medicine’s Pod C3 and D3 units. Patients arrive from Emergency, Critical Care, or Surgical units for medical treatment or monitoring. The role requires total patient care, health teaching, and team-oriented practice while supporting patients during stays of one to five days.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide total patient care for medical patients
- Administer medications and maintain intravenous therapy
- Support wound and palliative care needs
- Provide health teaching to individuals and groups
- Deliver enteral feed and tracheostomy care

Requirements:

- Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
- Recent Basic Life Support certificate for healthcare providers
- Acute care medical clinical experience
- Medication administration certification and related experience
- Continuous Ambulatory Drug Delivery pump training
