Operate refinery equipment at Suncor’s Syncrude Mildred Lake site, using troubleshooting and process monitoring skills. Work 12-hour shifts near Fort McMurray.

As a Process Operator, you will support protected, efficient, environmentally sound production within the Primary Upgrader. You will work with an experienced crew while following refinery management systems, operating practices, and procedures. The position requires equipment monitoring, process adjustments, and preventative maintenance to maintain product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate refinery equipment according to established operating guidelines
- Monitor equipment and operations for deviations
- Adjust process variables to maintain safe production
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot process equipment
- Work on a qualified post within an operating unit

Requirements:

- Two years of refinery experience
- 4th Class Power Engineering certificate required
- 3rd or 2nd Class certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Attach Power Engineering operating tickets with your application
