Model electrical services in Revit as a BIM Designer creating accurate 2D and 3D construction drawings. Travel may be required.
This BIM Designer develops electrical design drawings for construction projects using BIM technology and peripheral equipment. The work includes modeling to IFC designs and site layouts, coordinating electrical services, and maintaining company BIM Standards. You will support project teams, contractors, and other trades throughout delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Model electrical services in Revit according to design intent
- Maintain company BIM Standards across construction projects
- Coordinate electrical services internally and with other trades
- Implement vendor shop drawings as accurate 3D elements
- Produce virtual files supporting installation decisions and construction
Requirements:
- College diploma in Architectural Technology or similar program
- BIM Certification and required Revit experience
- Three to five years of CAD work experience
- One to two years of United States BIM coordination experience
- Experience with both 2D and 3D required
