Alberta Health Services seeks a Manager for its 31-bed Acute Care and 24-hour Emergency departments. This regular full time leadership position directs activities, makes unit-level decisions, and supports patient and family centered care. The Manager contributes to AHS goals through collaboration, consultation, and influence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct Acute Care and Emergency department activities
- Recruit and select staff for operational needs
- Manage staff performance and unionized operations
- Coordinate staffing and clinical work
- Manage budgets and allocate portfolio resources

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Nursing degree or relevant rural healthcare experience
- Three years nursing experience within the last five years
- One year leadership experience within nursing
- Active CRNA or professional licensing body practice permit
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Health Care Provider certification
