Lead emerging-asset medical strategy at J&J; Innovative Medicine in Toronto, guiding evidence generation and cross-therapeutic collaboration through a hybrid schedule.

This Medical Director position provides scientific leadership across emerging assets and current cross-therapeutic initiatives in Canada. You will drive medical readiness, stakeholder engagement, data generation, and launch planning while leading an agile medical team. The position spans oncology, immunology, cardiology, neuroscience, and other disease areas as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and deploy therapeutic area medical strategies
- Lead launch readiness and pre-launch medical activities
- Identify data gaps and develop Data Generation Plans
- Represent Canada on global teams and partner organizations




- Lead, coach, and develop medical affairs team members

Requirements:

- PhD or MD preferred; PharmD or MSc minimum with experience
- At least eight years pharmaceutical medical or scientific experience
- Required people management experience
- Robust GCP, IMC code, compliance, and regulatory knowledge
- Proven clinical study development, presentation, and publication record
