Lead high-volume finance operations at North Bay Regional Health Centre, overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, billing, and resident trust functions.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, Clinical Records and Decision Support, this Supervisor leads seven Accounting Clerks. The position ensures accurate, timely, compliant processing across vendor payments and revenue. It also supports internal controls, audit readiness, reconciliations, and process improvement within a hospital workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee vendor invoices, physician payments, reimbursements, accruals, and payment processing
- Authorize disbursements, banking changes, credit cards, and system access
- Manage OHIP, insurance, federal, WSIB, and self-pay billing
- Monitor aging, implement collections,



and resolve complex billing issues
- Oversee resident funds, valuables, reconciliations, refunds, and transfers

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
- Minimum five years of progressive accounting experience
- Supervisory or team leadership experience
- High-volume payables, receivables, or revenue cycle experience
- Knowledge of PSAS, OHRS, internal controls, and audit requirements
