As Environmental Design & Approvals Manager, you will oversee investigations, environmental requirements, commitments, and approvals. The position coordinates subject matter experts, design teams, construction leads, regulators, and specialty consultants. Your work supports compliance with Ontario environmental legislation, permits, regulatory conditions, and Environmental Assessment commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review completed investigations and environmental reporting
- Identify data gaps, commitments, investigation scope, and schedules
- Lead subject matter experts completing due diligence work




- Integrate environmental requirements across technical disciplines
- Oversee approvals strategies, deliverables, EMPs, and compliance

Requirements:

- Eight to ten years of related project experience
- Degree in planning, geography, environmental engineering, or related discipline
- Knowledge of Ontario transit rail assessment processes
- Experience managing environmental aspects of Ontario transit projects
- Knowledge of environmental legislation and ISO 14001 systems
