MDA Space seeks a System Engineer for current and next-generation remote sensing and communications satellites. You will define architectures, manage requirements, and coordinate spacecraft, ground-segment, and mission-operations interfaces. The work spans design, integration, verification, and operational support throughout the satellite lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define TT&C;/PDT functional architectures and interface requirements
- Lead hardware and software subsystem design activities
- Perform link-budget analysis and RF simulations
- Develop verification plans, procedures, and matrices




- Support launch, early-orbit, and contingency operations

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Science in electrical, aerospace, or related engineering
- 15+ years designing TT&C;/PDT systems on LEO, MEO, or GEO platforms
- Knowledge of CCSDS, ECSS, PUS, and ITU standards
- Proficiency with S-band, X-band, and Ka-band modem architecture
- Reliability Status clearance and Controlled Goods Program assessment
