Deliver protected postoperative nursing care at St. Michael's Hospital using comprehensive assessments and critical thinking in the Post Anesthetic Care Unit.

This Registered Nurse position serves day surgery and admitted postoperative patients within a large, two-unit PACU. You will establish therapeutic relationships, coordinate care, and collaborate with inter-professional teams. Ongoing learning, reflection, and evidence-based practice support nursing practice excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess patient care and learning needs
- Develop and evaluate individualized plans of care
- Coordinate patient care activities and transitions
- Recognize and address rapidly changing situations
- Document assessments, observations, and care provision

Requirements:

- Current General Class registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current BLS certificate; ACLS preferred
- Critical Care Course or three years ED experience
- Minimum one year current PACU experience
- Competence in comprehensive head-to-toe assessments
