Support PRESTO payments finance operations as a Financial Operations Analyst in a full-time, 12-month temporary role. Apply reconciliation and analytical skills daily.

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Financial Reconciliations, this analyst supports the Reconciliation and Exceptions team. The work covers general ledger reconciliations, exception transaction analysis, settlements, closing activities, and financial analysis. Metrolinx operates GO Transit, UP Express, and PRESTO across Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations and control points
- Create general ledger adjustments and manual settlements when required
- Analyze and resolve process exceptions and out-of-balance situations




- Prepare journal entries and reconcile financial reports
- Support partners, transit agencies, and annual audit requests

Requirements:

- Diploma in business, finance, accounting, or related discipline
- Financial services or payment industry reconciliation experience
- Experience booking journals to the general ledger
- Advanced Excel and strong MS SQL Server knowledge
- Robust analytical, organizational, and time management skills
