Environmental Technicians are invited to join Equinox Gold at the Greenstone Mine, a leading open-pit gold mining operation in Geraldton, Ontario. This role involves regulatory monitoring of air, water, and soil quality, ensuring compliance with environmental permits and best practices. What You’ll Need
- 2+ years of relevant work experience (mining or heavy industrial environments preferred)
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hydrology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience with environmental data management software (EQuIS)
- Knowledge of relevant environmental and waste legislation, standards, and industry best practices
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong commitment to safety, integrity, and environmental impact
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
