Lead 500kV and 765kV transmission line engineering teams at Sargent & Lundy under a hybrid schedule with three office days weekly.

This senior engineering position manages EHV transmission line projects for electric utilities, COOPs, and developers. You will provide specialist support for 500kV and above designs, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and develop technical design deliverables. The work includes managing project life cycles, client relationships, and engineering reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead engineering teams executing EHV transmission line designs
- Provide specialist support for 500kV and 765kV designs
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder communications
- Review calculations, drawings, specifications, codes, and client requirements




- Prepare explicit reports and resolve engineering issues

Requirements:

- Engineering or management degree meeting stated accreditation requirements
- 10+ years managing utility transmission projects
- 5+ years designing 500kV or 765kV transmission lines
- Expertise in electrical considerations for 765kV transmission lines
- Knowledge of NESC, IEC, ASCE, ACI, IEEE, and ANSI
