Turnaround planning specialists develop protected, executable work packages for industrial maintenance shutdowns. This role coordinates stakeholders, schedules, budgets, and resources.

NES Fircroft seeks an experienced Turnaround Planner supporting maintenance turnarounds and shutdown events at a large industrial facility. You will plan maintenance, reliability, and capital scopes while coordinating Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, and Contractor teams. The work requires strong maintenance work management knowledge and careful execution planning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop turnaround and shutdown plans for approved work scopes
- Create packages covering labor, materials, tools, permits, and equipment
- Coordinate scope validation with operational and technical stakeholders
- Identify critical paths, constraints, risks,



and resource requirements
- Support scheduling, readiness reviews, execution inquiries, and lessons learned

Requirements:

- Journeyperson certification, engineering technology diploma, or equivalent experience
- Five-plus years of maintenance planning experience in heavy industry
- Previous turnaround, shutdown, or outage planning experience preferred
- Proficiency with SAP, Maximo, or equivalent CMMS systems
- Ability to interpret drawings, P&IDs;, specifications, and technical documents
