This experienced Financial Analyst supports MDA Information Products through timely financial analysis, forecasting, and decision support. The position contributes to monthly reporting, revenue recognition, SRED schedules, and operational planning. It also advances process improvements and completes project deliverables on time and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support monthly financial reporting for Robotics and Space Operations
- Prepare revenue recognition schedules and IFRS15 white papers
- Develop budgets, forecasts, financial models, and reporting packages
- Analyze monthly variances and trends for management decisions
- Manage SOX controls, audit schedules, and auditor queries
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree and qualified accounting designation
- At least eight years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong project revenue recognition and IFRS15 knowledge
- Public company SOX compliance and SRED tax credit knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling
