GHD’s Engineering Design Organization seeks a Civil Design Technician with 5-10 years of civil design and modelling experience. You will develop conceptual and detailed models, coordinate multidisciplinary work, and support technical delivery. The position involves linear utilities, grading, servicing, roads, rail corridors, and transit stations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce conceptual and detailed civil design models
- Create drawings for sites, corridors, and transit stations
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, agencies, and subconsultants
- Lead defined technical scopes and mentor junior staff
- Contribute to proposals, specifications, estimates, and reports
Requirements:
- Five to ten years of civil design experience
- Extensive Civil 3D corridor and pipe network experience
- Robust geometric design and cross section development skills
- Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering
- Professional registration or eligibility in Alberta or British Columbia
