Lead cash control and reporting at METRO’s Ontario Finance and Accounting department, using reconciliation and advanced Excel expertise. This permanent full-time role is based at 5559 Dundas Street West.

The Manager, Cash Control oversees financial operations and cash management across company Store Retail locations. You will manage a team, maintain accurate reporting, and strengthen procedures supporting compliance, fraud prevention, and accountability. The role requires collaboration with stores, suppliers, auditors, and Head Office Business Partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage six or more employees through direct and indirect reports
- Analyze weekly cash reconciliation discrepancies and resolve reporting errors
- Reconcile fundraising campaigns and employee taxable benefits




- Develop reports and documentation for Metro and Food Basics
- Participate in store visits, projects, and internal audits

Requirements:

- College diploma or university studies in finance or accounting
- Working toward or holding the Chartered Skilled Accountant designation
- Five to seven years of progressive accounting analysis experience
- Advanced MS Office, SAP, BDMS, and Sweda POS knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills with macros, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables
