Coordinate Special Ship logistics for The North West Company in Winnipeg, using order management and inventory tracking skills. Support accurate store delivery from order creation through shipment execution.

This coordinator manages Food and General Merchandise programs from planning through delivery. The work includes purchase orders, requisitions, shipment monitoring, discrepancy resolution, reporting, and vendor coordination. You will support seasonal and promotional programs while maintaining operational visibility for stores and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate project plans, milestones, actions, and seasonal program execution
- Maintain databases, templates, order forms, and working files
- Monitor purchase orders, shipments, receiving, picking, and shipping
- Resolve mis-ships, shortages, overages,



and inventory discrepancies
- Distribute reports supporting shipment planning and stakeholder decisions

Requirements:

- Five years’ comparable warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience preferred
- Grade 12 education required; logistics education preferred
- Understanding of warehouse, inventory, transportation, and logistics processes
- Robust communication, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and organizational skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel and Word
