Lead roadway engineering and project management for COWI in a hybrid Associate Technical Director role across North Vancouver, Surrey, and Edmonton. Guide major transportation projects with technical authority and client focus.
This full-time leadership position builds highway and roadway design capabilities in British Columbia and Alberta. You will direct geometric design, traffic modelling coordination, civil disciplines, and transportation delivery. The mandate also includes business development, team building, mentorship, and Canadian Leadership Team participation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Professional of Record for roadway and highway designs
- Lead civil design scopes on major transportation projects
- Develop proposals and business opportunities for road projects
- Build client relationships and transportation service capabilities
- Mentor engineers, designers, technicians, and emerging leaders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
- Skilled Engineer license in British Columbia or Alberta
- Minimum 15 years’ multidisciplinary transportation project experience
- Expertise in geometric design and provincial standards
- Knowledge of Civil 3D, OpenRoads, MicroStation, or AutoCAD
