This manager oversees daily unit operations while ensuring company standards and procedures remain effective. The position supports safety programs, compliance audits, risk management, and Total Quality Management. It also develops people through mentoring, training, and team cohesion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support safety programs and employee compliance
- Maintain effective labor controls across the unit
- Facilitate audits and implement compliance action plans
- Support security, risk, and quality management efforts
- Mentor subordinates on company directives and policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or four comparable operations management years
- Minimum five years of prior safety experience
- Solid Microsoft Office and Excel computer skills
- Leadership experience managing a large staff
- Knowledge of HACCP; OSHA, DOT, and EPA desirable
