This Environmental Manager provides technical support as the project progresses from construction into operation. You will lead environmental technicians, oversee permits and licences, and coordinate with site disciplines and Saskatoon workplace and regulatory teams. The work requires mining experience, regulatory knowledge, and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead environmental governance, monitoring, and compliance programs
- Oversee regulatory reporting, permits, inspections, and audits
- Provide technical oversight for monitoring program implementation
- Manage incident reporting and environmental investigations
- Support planning, budgets, contractors, and site construction integration
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years' progressive environmental mining experience
- Three years as Environmental Manager or Superintendent
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience
- Remote fly-in, fly-out mine site experience
- Canadian mining permit and compliance experience
